and configuration click the Listen
Live button on the right.

for an "Adult Mix." A special musical
blend that features DC's classic songs, the latest
adult urban contemporary tunes, and a touch of progressive
music that makes it all, "Sound...like Washington."
Mornings feature The Steve Harvey Morning Show with Shirley Strawberry and Nephew Tommy , Herman Washington with The
News and Tony Richards. Stop by weekdays between 6 AM and
10 AM for lots of great music and information
plus the unpredictable fun with DC's newest
morning team.
The rest of the day features Triscina with
Cafe' 96. Take a musical lunch break
featuring live requests and lots of
give-aways. Now on the Afternoon Drive
Love, Lust and Lies w/ "Bad Boy"
Michael Baisden. A provocative mix of
relationship talk with the best of old
school and today's R&B.
WHUR is also the home of the original "Quiet
Storm" a musical format that has
been copied all over the world. Each
night, the 'storm' creates a romantic
setting that loyal DC listeners have
rated number one in the evening since
1976. Jeff Brown hosts this musical
journey weeknights beginning at 7 PM.
Weekend features include free music
give-aways each Saturday, relationship
talk show host and author Audrey Chapman,
DC top 20 countdown, and Sunday Gospel.
DC Sundays starts with the Caribbean
Experience, (a blend of Reggae, Calypso,
Soca) Midnight to 6 am hosted by John
Blake followed by Sunday Gospel. Patrick
Ellis and Jacquie Gales-Webb rule the
airwaves each Sunday 6 AM until 2 PM
with traditional and contemporary gospel
music. Lorna returns with Sunday Inspirational
from 2-7pm, then The Original Quiet
Storm closes out the weekend.
